Valdis had never visited the Welcome Center before, but feeling quite aimless, she decided to see what it was all about. The first thing she noticed was that Sonja was busily scribbling away at something. A chess board was set up nearby and so Valdis made her way over and sat down next to the young girl.

"What are you up to these days?" She asked, hoping that the girl was making good on her promise to limit her time in the fire sector.
