No, Sokka hadn't seen anything quite like this before. Yes, he'd seen magic. Bending magic, weird magic, foreign magic, all the magic. But not this sort of magic. And for a moment, before the actual moment of magic comes, Sokka is feeling pretty silly, cowering behind the desk as he is.

The card descends. And Sokka is practically tempted to stand up at that point. In fact, he does start to. "Oh is this all you were—"

And then the wind storm happens, and Sokka practically dives for cover yet again. Yeah, what is it with newcomers deciding that right near Sokka was a great time to showcase their weirdo skills. The wind storm knocks a few of the fliers and maps from their shelves, plastering them on walls opposite or floors or through the doorway as the case may be. And then when the large creature suddenly fills the room, Sokka just looks at it with beady eyes from behind the next.

"Okay, I probably should have mentioned rule number two about the Welcome Centre: No summoning large creepy... things inside!"

But still Sokka is looking up high to the large creature threatening to go through the roof of the Welcome Centre due to its sheer height. "Please tell me that thing's not dangerous."
