Tenzin is about to answer Katara's question when Aang makes his grand escape. Tenzin's eyes widen for a moment before his expression twists into a small scowl of frustration. It's gone quickly, though, and he gently scoops Katara into his arms, looking down at her, bemused.
"For starters," he says dryly, glancing back in Aang's direction, "my brother, Bumi, is a lot like that."
And with that he launches into the air, calling upon the currents to safely guide and lead them along Aang's path. The wind rushes past them as Tenzin picks up speed, all but running in the air itself and slowly but surely catching up to his father.
