Gene turns when he hears Sokka coming over. "Oh yeah," he says, sounding just as surprised. "I didn't realize that either. Looks like we're neighbors," he says with a smile. This is good. He likes Sokka, and Tony likes Sokka, and Gene and Tony both like Katara, too. Not hard to like someone who saves your life or the life of someone you love, anyway.
