Gene makes a noncommittal noise and gets up from the bed to go make food. He's not certain he'll eat; he's not really feeling up to it. But if Tony can stomach food, then he surely can, too.

He returns after about ten minutes with both some toast and some of 'that oatmeal-y stuff'. Hey, if Tony'll eat it, then that's reason enough to have made it. He needs to get his strength back, after all.
