Hearing someone creak out a plea for help while collapsed on the ground before him brings him back to that day outside the entrance to the underground mall where he first met Index. The girl collapsed due to nothing more than hunger, something easily sated by emptying his wallet after dragging her to the closest fast food place inside. The thought makes him want to laugh humorlessly; at least this time he probably won't have to shell out a single juulan.
His gaze flicks over Sokka's immobile form, spotting only the torn shoulder as obvious trauma. Maybe the head too; he doesn't like the unnatural way he's laid out on the ground. Something about it looks off.
"Can you move?" It's worth asking. Sokka could simply need someone to stabilise his pain-riddled body, or there could be another reason he hasn't left that spot yet.
