Anton had said there were two attackers left, with a possibility for more down in the sewers. No unique weapons. No advantage apart from whatever substance was currently coursing through Anton's veins. But even if there were only two, the attackers knew the sewers better, and they had a head start. Skulduggery wasn't about to underestimate that.
