[OPEN] I guess that I don't need that though

Characters: Zatanna Zatara | Midii Une | Aya | OPEN
Date: Backdated to the moment the Vision is let loose
Location: Various
Situation: Three girls. Three different connections to the baby turtles. Three very different reactions to seeing Valdis' vision of their last moments

Warnings/Rating: Baby Turtle Death. Which is sad. So very, very sad. I'm still crying.

I. - Zatanna

She was outside the Welcome Center.  Cleaning windows.

Okay, no, that wasn't entirely true.  She was sitting on a bench on the sidewalk facing the Welcome Center, watching the windows get cleaned.  While she ate an apple.  Smiling to herself as the window cleaner spray delivered another few spritzes just in time for the cloth to circle right around, creating a streak-free shine.

It hit her mid-bite.

Stronger than many.  While a majority of the turtle would be hit with an emotionally painful vision, hers would come both emotional and physical.  A strong psychic wave bombarding an already mystically-sensitive mind.  She cried out as her mind's eye was bombarded with wave after wave of images, each increasing the throbbing sensation in her temple.

She dropped her apple as both hands rose to her head, bending over and shutting her eyes tight in hopes of blocking it all out.

II. - Midii

She'd been in the markets.  Shopping.

Hers was a far more subtle intrusion.  One moment, she was staring at the menu at a local diner, trying to determine which flavored loaves of bread were freshest that day, the next--

At a glance, no one might have even noticed anything was wrong.  She remained perfectly still.  The basket of grocery's still firmly in her grasp.  Her eyes glazed over as she continued to witness what she had already known, but never seen.  Until now.

"...Emily-Helen..." A single tear slipped down her cheek as she let out a near inaudible gasp.  "No."

III. - Aya

She was on her way to Stark Industries when it hit.

What that it was, precisely, Aya did not know.  Her unique nature--as a daughter of Ion--shielded her mind from the inadvertent intrusion, sparing her from the worst of it.  She didn't see what everyone else saw.  But her scanner did pick up a noticeable blip in the current neurotransmission waves surrounding the immediate area.

So did her optic nerves, judging from the looks of those around her.

"Excuse me, but..."  Approaching the nearest individual, Aya was not shy to show her confusion.  "I do not understand.  What is happening?"
