Entry tags:
the joking and the laugh
Characters: Robert Callaghan & Thomas Light
Date: ~7/20? 7/20 sounds good.
Location: Metal Sector
Situation: Robert's showing Thomas a few of the places he used to frequent in Metal Sector, including a food stall or two. tHEY SEEM TO BE VERY GOOD FRIENDS
Warnings/Rating: Older men being comfortable with one another. The muns are 100% unapologetic.
"You'll still want to keep an eye on things - they've mostly gotten used to Foreigners, but there's still the occasional vendor who'll try and trick you. I find it best to rely on the Kedan themselves, and to err on the side of caution, finding someone you can trust and letting them guide you..."
He hasn't enjoyed a walk like this since- well, since before he arrived here, he doesn't think. But with Thomas, it's like he's found some sort of mirror - as though someone took his interests, the traits he admired most, a mind whom he would have loved to see back in San Fransokyo...
The least he could do was ensure he'd be able to put that mind to good use, right? Far be it from Callaghan to try and direct a man of Thomas' caliber, but...in terms of giving him, or at least showing him where to acquire the tools and resources he'd need?
Buying him lunch wasn't out of the question, either.
