Healing magic wasn't quite what Cain was expecting. Even here in Keeliai, where he knew it was possible, he hadn't had need for it and so never experienced the effects. It tingled and was definitely different than the way his body usually handled it, like a body mending itself at high speed rather than simply fixing what had been put out of place. He frowned at the spot where the pinkness began to fade away as well, his own power picking up the slack and returning things to their rightful state before their eyes.

"Increased healing speed," he answered belatedly. "That was weird."
