Or at least as okay as things can be when a giant alien ship blows up over a city full of eight million people," Pepper replies, trying to sound bored despite how unhappy the thought makes her. "It's not the same hearing it as seeing it," she adds, shrugging slightly.

Pepper watches as Raine zooms around the house; she's a little awkward but for the most part steady. The redhead gives a small yell of triumph when the healer returns.

"Nice! You're picking this up super fast. How do you like it?"
