The hotel was quite busy this month which left Klaus occupied with the book-keeping. True to his word, he was quite good at reconciling the accounts. But that wasn't where he was today. Klaus had found more steady employment at a small flower shop run by an elderly kedan. His duties were mostly tending to the greenhouse, clean-up, and heavy lifting. The owner had, very politely, asked Klaus not to be in the front room when customers were around. His appearance tended to make them nervous.

He hadn't minded. Klaus preferred to tend to the flowers in the greenhouse in peace, and he didn't have much experience as far as retail went. Though at the moment, the shop was empty, and the elderly owner had dozed off at the counter. Klaus was diligently sweeping, and had tucked a rolled towel under the owners neck while he slept.

There was a small jingle as the shop door opened, and Klaus looked up from his sweeping.

"Good afternoon," he greeted. The owner hadn't even twitched from his nap.
