To Yuri's credit, a recent nightmare had brought his friends roaring back to the forefront of his mind. He kinda missed them. Even though nothing might have changed for Duke since they last spoke, things certainly had for Yuri.

But now it's time for him to be surprised. Yuri stared at Duke in a stunned silence for a few moments. It hadn't even occurred to him that Duke might have tried to kill Alexei first. Yuri had been so consumed with his own desperation to save Estelle that he had completely villainized the other man for even suggesting that everything was Estelle's fault.

Now he really felt like an ass.

"Damn..." He muttered and went back to picking up debris.
