Casey winced in sympathy when the cut was located, then carefully cleaned around the wound as best they could. It was still bleeding and treatment to the site itself wasn't going to be simple. Rather, it would be easier to treat the bandage for now and apply it to the wound. Turning to their kit, Casey pulled out a pad of gauze and some cotton wrapping before going to place it around Palton's head once the medicated pad was affixed. Just some antibiotics to keep infection out while it cleaned.
"Doesn't look like a concussion and the wound isn't too deep," they declared, a tone of thankfulness evident. Shifting to face Valdis, they continued, "He'll need to be watched for the next twenty-four hours but rest and fluids should help. Nothing strenuous or it will probably keep bleeding and not heal at all."
