What in the world.

[B]
early Oct [6ish] | dojo, Wood Sector | closed to Bakura

Raine and Bakura agreed about language lessons, and so some evenings Raine goes to the dojo after her work with the Guild is done, instead of directly home. She brings dinner -- something purchased, not made, and settles into the lesson with sharp eyes and a single-minded focus.

It’s good to see him a little less exhausted, but personal matters will wait until after the lesson. Then, however, all bets are off.

Raine’s... food shopping. Ordinarily this might be cause for concern, but in this case she looks exceptionally determined; there’s a frown on her face and she’s referring back to a list in her hand. Every merchant she stops at, she double-checks both with them and with her list, nodding seriously every step of the way.

any October | Guild or apartment | open, generally

It’s basically guaranteed to find Raine at the Guild or at her apartment, if nowhere else. She’s more commonly at the Guild during the day, and can often be talked into taking a lunch break with someone when Solomon or Cain does not take it up. By the time the sun sets she’s usually home.

Sometimes she takes off days.

On the whole, though, Raine seems calmer this month than some previous, more settled, and generally happy to give anyone who comes her way at least some time and attention.

Raine had, mostly, the grasp of making a half-decent pot of tea by now. When her mind didn't wander, and when her tendencies to experiment were buried under other interests.

Still, it was possible that the fact she aimed for the kitchen even some time after dinner and the dishes had been done might be cause for some small amount of concern. "I'm not getting carried away," she said wryly over her shoulder, anticipating those concerns. "I simply thought we might both do with something warm." And, perhaps, it was something to do with her hands while another of her nagging concerns about Bakura came back to her thoughts.

At least in this instance it was a little more light than the usual suspects, and did not consume enough of her mind to significantly impact the tea.

Probably.
