Situation: Valdis and 'Rue' have put together an All Hallows Eve Masquerade Ball.

The day has finally arrived and the morning and afternoon are spent putting together what will be the scene of the Masquerade Ball at the Courtyard of Public Opinion. Kedan can be seen coming and going, carrying in decorations and lights and later on, various foods and desserts. Valdis, and Rue can occasionally be glimpsed directing people and moving things around, but anyone not a part of the setup will be ushered on and discouraged from lingering.

As night falls, the Courtyard will be brightly lit and ready for guests...

That voice definitely did surprise, and Casey startled at having someone stop and pay specific attention to them. For being called out, they shifted their hands up and down the lapels of the jacket before tugging on them and forcing their hands down to their sides. Here, this person looked gorgeous in their dress with the confidence to pull it off and Casey was...

... well, uncomfortable was the good word for it.

"Is it that obvious?" they asked, unable to stop the helpless and downcast tone.

"With this party as it is, yes." A short hand gesture has his soul-gem's setting clinking. Just look, it's a pretty .. well, 'warm' works, for describing the atmosphere of the party.

"So. To make it less obvious, we can find a new place for you to hide." Sion is pretty used to being a wallflower, he knows the more comfortable places where it looks natural that he's standing back. But he caught the pulling on the jacket, so he adds another thought.

"Or we can find something you're more comfortable in."
