[Midnight Hotel] November catch-all

Characters: Anyone, everyone.
Date: Month of November, 2015 (2016 in-game).
Location: The Midnight Hotel.
Situation: Catch-all post! Feel free to use this post for anything that happens within the Midnight Hotel during the month, using the subject header to label specific rooms or for specific people. See also the OOC note at the bottom.
Warnings/Rating: Mark your threads if content warnings become applicable, please!

The Hotel’s processes are chugging along in November. Some absences due to Foreigners leaving means that the Hotel employees are fewer, and while nothing changes in terms of services, things are a little bit hectic. For this reason, some of the kedanese part-timers will be more prominent—particularly at the desk and in the lobby, and keeping the peace.

There’s also that incident with Ravel becoming a bunny rabbit, which puts a little extra strain on the staff, having lost one of their own … temporarily.

The kedan who know Anton well are tiptoeing around him a bit this month. Some of them witnessed him with China at the masquerade and there are some rumours going around the Hotel that the proprietor has a squeeze on the side. Those who actually mention it inside his hearing find out quickly not to do it again, and even on good days he’s tense and almost grumpy. The only times his mood lightens at all this month are when he has the care of the tiny white bunny Erskine’s become.

[ooc: The Midnight Hotel’s status page is available here, with the rules at the top and ongoing status at the bottom. PLEASE POST TO THE STATUS PAGE IF YOUR CHARACTER WOULD LIKE A ROOM, JOB OR AREA IN THE GARAGE, OR ARE MOVING OUT. Anton will manufacture means of payment until Foreigners are able to properly offer recompense or choose to move out.]

A) Klaus

Still a bunny. Two weeks later and he's still a bunny. He's been keeping track on Shudder's calendar down on the front desk... in between nibbling on the edges of the ledgers. And just generally being an adorable addition to the desk staff.

Anton is busy this morning, which means once again Erskine's been pawned off on someone. This time it's Klaus, which Erskine doesn't mind at all. Klaus won't dress him up in stupid little bows. Klaus won't dress him up in stupid little bows and then show him off on the network. The most Erskine will have to endure is more cuddling, and over the last couple of weeks he's become quite accustomed to cuddling. Cuddling he can handle.

B) OPEN (to characters 18+ that is) Links sort of NSFW

Sometime mid-morning, perhaps 10 o'clock, the door to the dormitory room on the third floor where Klaus lives opens. That gorgeous guy that skulks around the Hotel working for Anton? Yeah, he's the one who emerges, fully human. Except instead of wearing his usual three-piece suit, he's...

Well, he's naked.

Erskine is going to walk from the third floor dormitory down to the first floor lobby and into Anton's office. Completely naked. Dead Men don't care much about nudity anyway, and of all of them, Erskine has very little to be ashamed of. He will intentionally duck away from any underage characters, but if he knows you're an adult, sorry. You're getting an eyeful.

He'd been woken up for what he mentally called 'bunny-sitting'. He didn't say the phrase out loud - Erskine had enough troubles without Klaus making terrible jokes at his expense. Still, it was early enough in the morning that Klaus was still in his pyjamas, slippers, and dressing gown with his red hair and cheek-floofs more wild than ever and a chin full of red stubble when there was a knock on the door and the bunny had been thrust into his hands.

He plucked the spectacles off his bedside table and pushed them up the bridge of his nose to peer blearily down at Erskine.

"Will you be alright here while I shower and shave?" He asked the tiny ball of fluff.

The bunny was a little more alert than Klaus, if only by virtue of the fact that it didn't necessarily matter what time of the day it was to him. As a bunny he'd been napping like a cat, whenever and wherever he could manage it. It was the most sleep he'd had in a century and he was loving every minute of it.

So when he was thrust at Klaus he was alert enough at least to wiggle his nose once, for yes, the system they'd devised a couple of weeks ago. He could certainly handle being alone for half an hour, or whatever it would take for the giant to get himself together for the day. He could probably handle himself well enough alone for a lot longer than that, but Anton had insisted on finding him a keeper whenever he couldn't do it himself. The trend had only gotten worse after Erskine had found himself snuggling up to China, though he wasn't entirely sure why.

The usual veiled aggression toward China? Or something else?

But that was neither here nor there. Erskine sat back on his hind legs and peered up at Klaus expectantly.

Klaus gave a small nod of approval, and with one last little pet, he left some strawberries for Erskine to nibble on while he headed off for his morning ritual.

He wasn't long in the bathroom and within a quarter of an hour, he reappeared with a bald chin, his cheek floofs manicured into perfect points, smelling slightly of cologne and aftershave and running a towel through his damp hair. It was a good thing his head was ducked to the side as he sought his comb and glasses.

"Mr Ravel, have you seen my spectacles?" He asked, more to fill the silence than to make any actual conversation. He knew Ersk couldn't talk. "I thought I put them down over there."
