She had done something wrong and she suddenly realized that she had, again, been counting on a broken man. She flinched, not because Erskine's words fazed her, but because she recognized her slip into old habits. Manipulations, using weaknesses against others, hurting people without trying. She could be so terrible, and Erskine didn't deserve to suffer because of her own issues.
