"Super cool. It's a new skill; Bakura has been teaching me summoning shadow creatures using his own magic but Vee showed up when this thing did," Pepper explains, waving the gauntlet before fanning out the cards. "It lets me summon shadow creatures like these."

I am bound to the Lady, and thus I am always present, in a way, the Knight rumbles mentally, testing to see if Cain can hear her.

"Vee is kind of part of my soul or something, or at least tied to it somehow, so she can basically poof in whenever I want her to," Pepper adds.
