[EVENT | TAVIMBI] HAPOYELA'S BLESSINGS

Characters: Come one, come all!
Date: March 5th
Location: The Sabonile Temple, in Hatal
Situation: The Foreigners, as well as many prominent kedan, have been invited to the great Temple of Hapoyela in Hatal, where the Sabonile priest class wishes them to participate in a celebration!
Warnings/Rating: Character nudity in the after-feast comment. Indicate content warnings in subject headers as applicable.

---

According to the Sabonile priests, Hapoyela wishes to properly welcome the Foreigners and the kedan to the full scope of Tavimbi's hospitality, and has instructed the clergy to organize a suitably impressive celebration for the citizens of the oldest living Great Turtle. All Foreigners, as well as many notable kedan including the Family heads, are invited to attend a grand feast and celebration at the Sabonile Temple, one of the largest buildings in all of Hatal.

The clergy has promised an evening of good food, lively entertainment, and the magnificent blessings of Hapoyela. At the same time, the Sabonile will be hosting a soup kitchen in the Temple's courtyard, feeding the hungry and the poor, as dictated by their religious tenets and beliefs.

While those who receive an invitation to the event, which the Sabonile consider a sacred charge from Hapoyela, are not required to attend... it could be seen as a disrespect to their deity.

MOD NOTE: For the naked after party section, soul gems are still allowed to be worn. If your character isn't up for stripping down, they can excuse themselves from that segment of the evening, which will have no negative repercussions with the Sabonile. In this case, they will simply do a wave-over blessing from Hapoyela around the person, and bid them a pleasant evening before they go.

"I have to admit that that is more than just a little disturbing. I wasn't told about this possibility before now."

And why not? Isn't it something important that she should know about, if she's been here before with no memory of the situation. Or that it's a possibility.

She also gives her last bowl to the person before her and heads off to help break up the argument. She at least attempts to not appear to be intimidating as she listens to the two men begin talking over the top of the other about how they were pushing in line and trying to steal food. "Gentlemen, there's plenty of food to go around. Fighting isn't necessary."

"Maybe because this is the first time you've been here."

That's pretty much what it typically boiled down to in Luceti. Either someone was just arriving for the first time, or anyone who would have remembered them, were gone too.

Zuko though, tends to look intimidating even when he's not trying. That scar definitely doesn't help as the two Kin'al look at him warily.

"She's right, everyone will get some," he says firmly.

"Perhaps. I don't think anyone here knows who I am that didn't know before they came here."

Not that it really matters in the long run, considering that, even though it's an important topic, it might be possible that Obi-Wan and Anakin are unaware of the situation as well. She'll have to ask them later.

She looks over at her companion with a wry expression. He does seem the more serious type, and that burn scar is definitely much more intimidating than a smiling, pretty woman. Which is good because that means they're underestimating her.

Although the men back away with a few whispered words and apologies about their behavior, obviously scared. If she doesn't step in, they might just run away and spread rumors. "Why don't you both come up to the front of the line and get your food now. That way we don't have any problems later, alright?"

Hopefully the rest of the people in line won't fight her on this.

Zuko blinks at the reaction of the Kin'nal, and pauses to rub at his head sheepishly. He's really not that scary, or at least he doesn't try to be. But yeah, okay, maybe he can be a little intimidating sometimes. He is the Fire Lord after all, even if that doesn't mean anything to anyone here.

"Yeah, here..."

And he moves back to fill a couple more bowls of soup, and to offer them to the two arguing Kin'nal. Hoping that it would make up for the fact that he'd made them uneasy.

"There's no point in fighting. This is supposed to be a happy time. Everyone should try to get along and keep the peace."

He offered them a smile as well.
