Of all the people he expected to meet around the city, he didn't expect Padme. Sure, he knew she was around, but it never really crossed his mind that they would meet in person, not for any real reason, but he didn't think it would happen. He didn't move from his spot, instead just grabbing the pleated vest he wore over his under layer and put it back on. It didn't feel right wearing only that when speaking to the woman who would be his grandmother.
