He paused to think over the second question, trying to judge his words with at least some care. "I think I did." He finally responded, more serious than before. "I learned that she did what she did because she thought that it was the best thing for the Kedan."

He hesitated once more, arms folded against his chest. "She was trying to help her people." His brows were knit together, the memory of his conversation causing a knot in his stomach. "Sure, it backfired awfully, but we all make mistakes, no? It doesn't mean that she betrayed anyone." A deep breath. "She just messed up. And that's fine." Definitely not worth getting killed.
