"Dreaming..."

That wasn't precisely reassuring to Amon. If he were dreaming, he wanted to wake up. He wanted nothing to do with this place, he wanted to persist his true life. He imagined many others were in the same boat as him... Which meant no one had found a reliable way to get out of this yet.

"You're saying the best I can hope for is to simply wait until I wake up, so to speak. And that could take... how long, exactly?"
