"It could," Amberdrake agreed, and sat down on one side of the bench he'd found. "Only time will tell, however."

He looked at Luke for a moment, remembering a different scruffy, brown-haired guy. Younger than Luke, yes, but so enthusiastic about everything.

"I have a dear friend who could use someone to go exploring with," he mentioned, slowly, "if you wouldn't mind some company? He can be a little... acerbic, I admit, but his heart is good. He just doesn't know how to handle people very well."
