Kylo's eyes flashed. Oh, there it was. That defiance he had first seen on Jakku, and not quite managed to break on the Finalizer. And right now he realized how much he still wanted to break it.

"A fool, am I?" They were so close he could swear he felt Dameron's body warmth seep into him. "What does that make you then, pilot?" he snarled. "You who think you can defend yourself with your little quips and a blaster..." He looked down to note that yes, he still bore it. "Do you want to shoot me, Dameron? Why don't you try? You're too close, I couldn't stop the bolt this time."

And then his hand released Poe's shoulder and his fingers closed around thin air. Not enough to fully steal his air, certainly not enough to crush, but he wanted to see fear. Maybe a plea. Maybe, even better, see Dameron on his knees again. "But you're too slow. Always too slow, Dameron."
