"I've only just begun a couple of weeks ago," he says dismissively, "I don't think I'm equipped to be administering any healing by artes yet." He certainly doesn't feel equipped to be doing any such thing in front of an audience. Or, well, to be a healer at all. It is still hard to accept that in order to master the healing arts he will actually have to use them, and that means offering aid to those in need.
But he does permit Fletch to lead him, and doesn't even snap at him for doing so by steering him physically. Rather proud of that much self-control, really.
"I know about regular first aid, though," he offered, just so Fletch wouldn't go and tell Raine he'd been useless. "And I'm not squeamish around body fluids or gruesome wounds."
