Late Night Shopping
Characters: Kevas and the lucky lady Indin for now...
Date: August 24
Location: Fire Sector
Situation: IT'S A SURPRISE PARTY (the surprise is kidnapping)
Warnings/Rating: None at the moment
This whole endeavor took Kevas longer than he wanted. He already knew he was facing an uphill battle having almost no information beforehand. Adding to that was the fact that his target possessed the ability to change her features at will. It all made his contract a particularly vexing challenge. Fortunately Kevas enjoyed a challenge. What he enjoyed even more than that was winning.
It took time, but Kevas knew Indin's routine now. He knew where she went and what she was doing. To be honest he felt a little disappointed that she apparently sunk to being a drug runner. The way China spoke of her, he expected something a little more. More than once he thought about destroying the packages she left behind. That would just alert her to his presence though, and he'd have to start from the beginning. Not to mention destroying a few packages of drugs here and there would do nothing to solve that problem.
Besides, he wasn't getting paid to do that. No, his contract involved obtaining Indin and taking her back to China for questioning. Kevas planned to do just that. As the sun began to dip below the horizon, Kevas laid in wait in an alley of the seedier part of the Fire Sector. Despite his size Kevas nearly melted into the shadows. There he waited for his target to appear. Hopefully this would go smoothly. The last thing he wanted was to draw any kind of attention.
