Catch-All for December
Characters: Conan Edogawa and others
Date: Throughout December
Location: Various
Situation: Various
Warnings/Rating: None
1. On a street a few blocks away from Sherlock's Apartment:
Conan had been on his way to the library at the university. Had been, because along the way he spots several kedan attempting to use a very familiar snowboard as a platform for moving furniture. After a moment of observation, he approaches the kedan with a bright smile.
"That doesn't look like a very useful way of going about this. Where did you find it? Wouldn't it be better to use something with wheels?"
2. At a Cafe
Conan frowns as he sits at a table in the corner of the cafe, far away from the majority of the crowd. He ignores the juice the waitress had left for him in favor of paging through the book he had recently discovered, marked with the tag of a feather. It would have been odd enough to discover any version of this book here. But there was something even more strange.
He turns back one more time to the title page and stares at it with confusion.
"The Complete Sherlock Holmes". And beneath it, inscribed in his own handwriting, "Property of Kudo Shinichi".
3. Somewhere in the Central District, for Sherlock Holmes
Conan had not gone out with the intention of finding trouble. He never did. But trouble had a way of finding him anyway.
He hadn't meant to overhear a group of kedan discussing their art forgery group's plans. He definitely hadn't intended to get caught eavesdropping. And he really hadn't planned to spend the evening locked in a storage room with his ear pressed against the door as he listened to them arguing over what to do with him.
And out of all of this, the most annoying part was that instead of locking the door (which could be picked or forced open by a soccerball}, they had instead moved furniture in front of the door. Which made planning his escape much more complicated.
4. At Sherlock's Apartment, for Peridot
Conan stares at Peridot as she comes through the front door of the apartment.
"Oi! What are you doing here?"
5. At Sherlock's Apartment, for anyone
Conan stares at the kitchen cupboard with annoyance. After going through all the effort of dragging a chair through the kitchen and climbing up on it to reach a cupboard, he had just discovered that it was empty.
They were out of coffee.
6. At a park
With nothing else to do for the day, Conan had headed for the nearest green space and busied himself kicking a soccer ball around.
