If given the chance, Mo might like the chance to meet this person on his own and see what groundwork he could lay. Unfortunately, that's not likely to happen, since Alex probably won't be letting Mo out of his sight until he no longer has a choice in the matter. Ah, well. That just means preparing Alex as best he can, which was the point of this anyway.
