Devin Parker was nothing if not a troll; he was fairly certain that his actions wouldn't be enough to piss Valdis off to the point of refusing to give him blood every so often, but he didn't want her to think of him as any kind of friend. He could be an annoyance she needed to keep from hurting others, and that was fine.
So when he arrived at the KPD, it was with a borrowed silver platter, upon which a note was written in fine script: Fenrir's heart, along with a small, vaguely anatomical drawing. Devin waited for Kaliel to enter Valdis' office and then followed shortly after without prompting, just to continue to be a pain.
"Ooh, creative name. You should go into taxonomy," Devin crooned as he swept by Kaliel, and bowed slightly to Valdis. It was obviously affected and not genuine, but that's his style. "Getting the real thing was impossible, but I did my best to muster a suitably entertaining alternative," he told her, setting the tray lightly on her desk.
