Raine stares at Pepper for a moment, mouth drawn down, wondering if it's a worth-while investment of energy to argue with Pepper. Pepper seems very determined. "...fine," she acquiesces finally. She considers picking up her staff, considers who she's in company with, and finally decides not to.

A break, Pepper says. "Did you have someplace in mind?"

And now that Pepper has interrupted her, Raine finds she is hungry. She eyes Pepper's delicious burden with a subtle sort of covetousness.
