Characters: Tony, Jack, Raine, Miles, Bucky, Devin and YOU
Date: Early July
Location: The College, the new tram line, and other locations around the city
Situation: Business as usual
Warnings/Rating: none yet
1. Jack | the College | backdated to June 15
The day after talking to Jack on the console, Tony is, as promised, in his College lab bright and early. Or maybe really, really late. How much tea has he drunk since yesterday afternoon? You probably don't want to know.
2. Raine | handset message; text
hey Raine. you interested in a new science project? I'm dealing with more biochemistry than I usually do and I could use another brain on this.
3. Miles | the College
Tony's initial tests and discussions with Raine had been interesting, but hadn't yielded any lightning bolts of inspiration. Time to get down into the weeds. Which, for Tony, means 'run wacky experiments until something exciting happens.'
Hopefully 'exciting' in this case won't mean murder by nanite, but, just in case, he'd asked Miles to come in after hours, and made sure the building was clear for the night.
4. Bucky | in a goddamn tree
The sight of a Foreigner perching in a tree like some sort of gigantic, ridiculous bird is... not as uncommon as you'd think, actually. They can be a weird bunch.
Still, Tony wouldn't have expected Bucky Barnes to be playing Tarzan.
If Tony weren't accustomed to staying alert to his surroundings in three dimensions, he probably wouldn't have even noticed the slight movement in the tree above him – the guy sure can be sneaky.
"Dude." Tony stops and looks up, baffled, at the soldier. "What are you doing in a tree?"
5. Devin | the College
Unlike Stark Industries back in the old days, Foreigners are pretty sparse at the College, so Tony takes notice whenever he sees one hanging around.
This particular Foreigner isn't anybody Tony knows – must be a newer arrival – but Tony's seen him a few times in the past week, just sort of hanging around. Honestly, after the first couple times, it starts to look a little sketchy.
When Tony catches him wandering the halls in the early evening, after most everyone has gone home for the day, he decides it's time to figure out what his deal is.
"Hey, man. What's up? Are you looking for something?"
6. Open | tram line construction | throughout the month
Tony's project this month is the new tram line out to the turtle's head. While he doesn't make use of the soothing psychic field as much as some of the other Foreigners, he's always interested in technological advancement and the development of infrastructure in the city. And the cooler attitude towards the Foreigners has only made him more determined to get involved in municipal improvements. Plus, he likes trains.
He's usually armored, for obvious reasons, but sometimes he'll shuck the suit and help out on the ground with the pencil-and-paper part of construction. The work can be tedious, but it is yielding a very satisfying tangible reward, and anyone looking for him is likely to find him in a good mood.
