Tommy watches her with a small smile, continuing to turn the spoon over in his hands to keep some part of him moving. If it wasn't his hands it would be his leg, twitching against the floor.
"No, you're totally right," he said, giving a small shrug. "But what am I supposed to do other than deal with it? I mean, I live with my brother's parents--long story, don't ask--and they feed me, but I still gotta go out and get my own food because it's never enough," he says, trailing off and knocking the spoon against a glass.
