Fish Justice
Characters: Amelia and whoever would like to bump into her!
Date: About April 3?
Location: Water Sector
Situation: Amelia tries to save some fish. And tries not to fall in!
Warnings: N/A
She'd already been shooed away from the turtle. The kedan had made it very clear that she wasn't welcome in spite of her offers, her pleas, and a very good rant about Justice (one of her best, even!).
The decay around Amelia made her twitchy. The girl wasn't used to sitting and doing nothing; in fact, she'd always made it her personal business not to sit around and do nothing if it was even halfway in her power to help. This was a girl fully willing to make a pest of herself if need be.
The water in the canals was heavy with decay and stink -- water that had been clear and sparkling just a few days before. Amelia crouched next to it, arms wrapped around her knees, staring as it slipped by in its track, watching the occasional fish surface as though to gasp for air. There were no spells that she knew to purify water. Aqua Create, though it would have produced clean water, would have just joined the rest of the pollution and not helped at all. Rocking back and forth slightly, the girl nipped at her lower lip, throwing all of her energy into a solution.
. . . The spell that came to mind next wasn't meant for fish or pollution, really, but would it work? Stretching out a hand, Amelia dipped her fingertips into the water.
"Dicleary!"
The water around her hand began to glow white.
