"I," Jim says with significant aplomb. "Am a Starfleet captain. USS Enterprise, boldly going where no one has gone before, the whole nine yards. It's great." And he loves it, it's obvious in the fondness of his tone and the slight upward turn of his mouth. It's a muted affection, something deep and established rather than new and exciting, but it's there.
