[Carol's only been here a few days so she isn't all that familiar with the place herself. She's been wandering around, getting acquainted with the layout of the turtle and the people. She hasn't learned much and being on a giant turtle to still immensely weird to her but what can she do? She spots Jim one day as she's wandering around. He looks like he just stepped right out of a sci fi show so naturally he catches her attention and she decides to approach, arms folded over her chest in complete neutrality. He's either a massive nerd or this is going to be the best meeting ever. Either one is okay with her, really. She's wearing civvies so she looks like a completely normal human woman]
