[ They'd made it out intact, and with some information to boot, and despite the occasional scare, they're mostly unharmed. The mission could be considered a success. Iorveth had marked down a location just outside the borders of Keeliai, where the vegetation has begun to fade and the bare shell is showing through in places, for them to meet and go over what they discovered.

It's a hut in a burned out village, but it's something. ]

[ Roy's one of the last to make it back, given that he'd been trying to salvage anything he could after the rest were out - it pains him to leave roybots, even totally busted ones, there when he could take them home and either fix or reoutfit them. So it's with a backpack of metal bits sticking out all over that he makes his way into the burnt out village and flops onto the ground, melodramatic. ]

One of you better have found something good, or I just wasted a whole lot of scrap metal for a butt-ton of nothing.

[Una's been pacing, waiting for everyone to get back in one piece. She gives Roy a look.]

Rest easy, Roy. I think we've got a few things to show for our labours.

[ He finds a charred stump to plop down on and rolls a shoulder as he looks up to her, voice fairly pleasant and relaxed considering the situation. ]

Yeah? Ballin'. You guys make it through okay - no guards?

Nothing that Amon and Sabriel couldn't handle. [She smiles; her teammates did good work, after all.]

I think we managed to pull a good amount away. Would've been more if Annabeth let the explosions go but whatever. [ explosions are the best distractions okok ] So what'd you guys find?

A journal. It's got promise, I think. I'm hoping Sabriel can learn more about it.

[She nods.] Luckily, yes. An account of another attempt to deal with ... our nameless friend. With an idea that might or might not have been tried.

I may have found something. [Sabriel's excitement is only partially concealed, and she shows him the journal.]

Does anyone else besides Zelgadis have magical training? I want to study this a bit more... but I think whoever wrote this was working out a way to seal our enemy- permanently.

[ Roy makes an 8O face and reaches up to take it from her, being careful with it. ]

For real? Score... [ He sets the journal on his lap and thumbs through a little, looking over it. Huh. ] Magical training, magical training... No one comes to mind. The demigod kids that were with me had some mad skills, though? Maybe ask Percy, Leo and Annabeth?

I'd like to keep it, if you don't mind? Everyone's welcome to look at it, but I'd feel safer if it's kept under every protective ward I can create.

And we need to find out what Bysaliat is- maybe it's the world the Kedan came from?

Might wanna be careful where we're asking around. If the Emperor catches wind of it we might end up in a dungeon for a while.
