Situation: Lois has Kryptonian powers, she's not sure whose. (Spoiler: Jor-El's.) But her husband's a teenager. She has some issues.

[Unlike Lois who seemed to be relishing in her flight, Mark was not so happy with losing his. Instead, he had to worry about burning his house down... or flooding it. Or apparently starting a mini hurricane. He had a solid hunch whose powers he had woken up with (and by extension who had his), but didn't want to confront her for fear of giving up his secret identity. Of course, he could confront her as Invincible, but until he could figure out how to actually use these powers, he didn't want to chance it. So now he was just aimlessly wandering his sector, trying to figure out his next move and lamenting the loss of his powers...

And that's when he runs into Lois.]

Hey there Mrs. Lane [Kent?]. You're, uh, floating. [And he's jealous.]

[Lois looks around, recognizing the voice, but it takes her a few moments for her to connect face and name. Still, she remembered liking Mark a lot, when they had their little adventure some time back. Nice kid. As a result, she decides not to go into a thing about her name. The technicalities are really only important when dealing with people being snooty or Lex Luthor--because it matters with him, too much history--and Mark doesn't qualify.]

I do seem to be. I'm guessing it's Kryptonian powers, but there's enough candidates for that I can't quite narrow it down. [Professional about it!]

[Sorry, Lois. He was raised to always be respectful to people older than him. Ask Bruce. He's still fighting calling him "Mr. Wayne."]

You mean like Superman? Or his dad? And... uh... [Wasn't there someone else he knew with a "super" name? Oh right!] Superboy?

Supergirl, too--Kara. There's a few others--I think there's a teenage cape not from our universe who can, but I'm pretty sure it isn't his. I know Kryptonian powers when I get to play with them.

[Don't worry, she will find a way to break him of the respect habit if it kills her. She believes strongly in irreverence toward authority.]
