Situation: Exploring a city that was abandoned almost 1,000 years ago.

After speaking to both the Emperor and Han about getting a lay of the land from above, the party of twelve is given supplies for the long trip to load up on the massive dragon. Once done, Han opens up his large frills for characters who wish to relax and enjoy the ride. Being freed from the bottle, the dragon is enthusiastic about the flight and fluidly glides through the air with fair warning given to the foreigners on his back (especially those with motion sickness). Any conversations may include the dragon since Han speaks telepathically.

Hours later, a city in the sky draws Han's attention...

[Similar to so many of his companions in this respect, if not every other, Saint Walker finds himself drawn towards the library and its immense walls of books. He is no stranger to literature, certainly, but it's something else to see them all lined up like this, and he spends some time merely walking down the aisles, marveling at the sheer amount of information kept within these walls.]

Remarkable! Quite remarkable, [he murmurs to himself as he walks. He actually has to loop back around to begin searching for books to read in earnest, and holds his ring up to the titles, bathing them in the blue light that allows him to read English. Bereft of the knowledge that some of the older residents have, he eventually settles on looking for books on history and philosophy.]

( Shockwave doesn't spend much time in any section beyond science - far too concerned with the development and differences between what Shockwave knows and this. But that doesn't mean occasionally wandering into other sections and taking a look.

Which is how Shockwave comes across Saint Walker, greeting the other with a smile. )

[Saint Walker smiles back at the stranger, tucking the book he had slid off the shelf underneath his arm - one on philosophy, if Shockwave cares to take a gander.]

I believe I could spend a month here and not manage to get through them all, [he comments, nothing but good humour in his tone.] It is a pity that we can only take so many back with us.

I'd been thinking the same thing. ( A pause, because Shockwave is certain the other had been a flier. ) But perhaps if we could return here, given enough persuasion and proof that our time here was valuable....

( Shockwave does catch the subject, but doesn't bring it up yet. There's more to focus on at the moment. )
