Man. This is the most active thing he's had a hand in since he first arrived in the city. There's been plenty happening, alright, but going off on a rescue mission is a lot more up his alley than doing the reactionary thing. As such, Casey is a little torn between light nerves and an ill-advised amped-to-eleven excitement through the discussion. He's pretty used to managing it, at least.

His tools of the trade are a variety of blunt objects, vaguely reminiscent of sports equipment (the consequences of preferring to work with sports equipment on a giant turtle island) and a plain white mask. Well, those and his sparkling wit, obviously. There's a time and a place for that, though. Casey clears his throat.

"So, uh. I'm gonna go ahead and say I'm a way better front-door-breakin' guy than a sneakin' in back guy, if that's gonna make a difference?"

There's definitely a lot to consider before beginning this mission. Time is of the essence, though, so Steve is all for trying to hash everything out as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Steve nods to Casey when he speaks, and after a quick glance about the room, he straightens. "I am too. But we have to take into account that we don't know how many hostiles are going to be at each location. For the place my team goes into, I'll go in first. Take out as many as I can, hopefully without alerting them."

The last thing he wants is for them to get desperate and write off Lieuen before they've a chance of extracting him.

"Stealth and finesse operation, huh?" Yeah, he knows a few guys who would've been totally perfect for this. Of course, they're better suited to most rescue situations than he is. It's the benefit of years of training or something. He scratches the back of his head. "Guess that is better than gettin' killed or losin' our guy. As long as there's a game plan, man, I'll stick to it. Hate to be the reason we lose in the fourth quarter and all."

Otherwise he's a lot more likely to try to start busting skulls and thinking about it later. Works great on street thugs, but not so much hostile cults.

"If this goes as smoothly as it should, there shouldn't be any casualties on our side." That might be a bit too confident, especially considering they didn't know what the cultists would have up their sleeves, but Steve knows firm belief like that can go a long way.

"We'll have everything squared away before we do any of this. Several contingency plans wouldn't hurt, either." If things don't work out? All the blame can be placed on him. Steve is ready to accept that burden.

"Whatever is done at the other two locations will have to play on the strengths of the other teams." He's not going to force someone else to potentially jump into the line of fire like he would, after all.

"Yeah, sure. Makes sense." Trust the guy with the plan as long as he doesn't seem overly shady, that's Casey's approach. "Done the mission thing before, huh?"

The question isn't quite scrutinizing, but he's got a vested interest here. The non-dying investment of interest.

"I was in the Army." That's the simplest way to put it, but far from being a detailed answer. He pauses for a moment before continuing.

"My team and I were tasked with missions that weren't much different than this. We were trying to stop HYDRA, and even in some regards they were similar to these cultists."
