[OPEN] I got friends I haven't met yet

Characters: Dinah Lance - OPEN
Date: Various times between June 4th and 16th
Location: Everywhere and anywhere
Situation: Dinah exploring the city and the turtle, meeting people she arranged to meet with, settling in. Bothering people.
Warnings/Rating: Will add as they come up.

Dinah needs to find something to do. She did manage to find a job in retail, but outside of that she's been finding herself becoming restless quickly and that never feels comfortable.

So she's dedicating some time to exploring, getting to know the city and the the Turtle, and meeting as many people as she can, just to know who is who.

"I would have been." Her smile turns sad as she lowers her gaze to the table in front of her. The life she could have had would always be a sore point.

"Both of my parents were. I was just about to graduate when..." She hoped Dinah knew the end to that story.

"Still." She moves right along, leaving the painful memories behind in the conversation. "I'm doing research with Dr. Banner now, so that's interesting. The equipment is completely different here than it was on Krypton."

Kara nods. There's far more research happening in the lab than just the hydroponics garden, or she wouldn't be interested in it.

"He's showing me how everything works, and then I'm going to help him with some biological research."

"Looking into the turtle's sickness," Kara explained, very seriously. She had come to appreciate her new home, and she certainly didn't want to lose it like she had her last one.

"And just general biology as well. You have to have an idea of what healthy life looks like before you start diagnosing sick life."

She shrugged. She really didn't have much to base a judgment off of.

"It looks a bit similar. Obviously not the geography, but everything seems to work more or less the same."
