[Miles had been happy to be without his powers at first, but as time went on he found himself missing the feeling of swinging through the city on a web, helping people and stopping crimes. So when the powers come back on, he dons the suit and heads out.]

I like Cap. He was going to train me back home, before... [Before the country sort of fell apart. Before he got his mom shot. Before he got sucked into this turtle-universe where no one seems to be from the same place as him.]

Cap's a good guy. One of the best.

[Even though Scott's never gotten to know Captain America well - one of the downfalls of being a small guy on a big team - he knows that Steve Rogers is one of the best there ever was. His own preferences are biased towards those he knows better but even he can admit that Cap is something else.]

You can't ask him to train you here? There might be stuff going on but I wouldn've thought that sort of stuff is important to him.

[Miles gets a smile for that. If this kid's gonna be a superhero, then he's at least going to get the best training there is from the best teacher there is.]
