- Her landings aren't the smoothest right now. So everyone is going to fall the fuck over when they arrive.

- The portal is pretty unremarkable, just like a tunnel that opens in the middle of nowhere. There'll be some sense of movement, and it totally does smell like cabbages. Catty will deny it though.

- If anyone is wearing a watch, they'll notice the hands turning back faster and faster

- Every one will be hitting up all three points in time! I just figured that no one would be interested in multiple threads for each place, but if you want to thread your pairs finding nothing as well, just toss up a thread in the entry! Go crazy etc.

She wants to return his grin and make another joke, she really does, but Willow doesn't manage it. She's still depressed about her arrival.

"Being here long enough to have favorite statues is discouraging," she says glumly, following along nonetheless. Willow is used to being a sidekick, despite her recent rather scary forays into independence, and it might show in the utter lack of complaint at letting Dorian direct their excursion.

They complement each other well in this: loner antihero he may be, but Dorian is also accustomed to directing an adventure more than following another. He ambles along like an expert flaneur, detecting the note of glumness. "If it's any reassurance, very few have been here for even a year. Most vanish sooner, as far as I can tell. Perhaps you will too."

He doesn't mention the vivisections. That would be unnecessary.
