[Crossly:] Do you take me for a bad driver?

[dunhaming]

[ Patiently, kindly, but a hint firm: ] You certainly weren't paying enough attention to avoid me.

[ But it's not a no, she does trust him. ]

[imaginate]

[He turns up his nose at her as he hops in.]

[Playfully:] You were being a bad pedestrian.

[dunhaming]

[ She climbs in a little more sedately. Just because she's in good shape doesn't mean she should forget she's fifty. There's a few hints that she might feel that collision and fall a little more than usual when she wakes up tomorrow. ]
