Characters: Greed and Lan Fan
Date: the 24th
Location: Greed (and now Lan Fan)'s suite
Situation: Misspell - Body swap!
Warnings/Rating: None (may change?)
There was this dull sensation, and it took Greed several minutes to realize that his head hurt. Something he'd only experienced when he'd regained his memories or fought Ling for control of the body. A few more minutes after that and the man was beginning to notice why he felt that way; there was silence. No cacaphony of souls traging inside his mind. And more than that there were now other pains as well. Why did his arm feel so heavy? What was going on with his stomach for that matter. He shouldn't be feeling hungry already let alone THIS hungry. Finally he opened his eyes, staring at the ceiling of...the guest room? The man sat up a little more quickly than he expected, looking around with a slight panic before he turned his eyes downward, examining with sheer confusion the slender feminine legs and the mismatched arms that he was used to looking at from the outside.
Poking at his (her?) chest there was a decidedly feminine exhale. Yep. He was Lan Fan. Which meant--
Suddenly the woman leapt the rest of the way out of bed, careening around corner and up the stairs to Greed's room and flinging the door open.
"LAN FAN!"

"LAN FAN!"

She couldn't grasp her surroundings, rolling onto her stomach before pulling her limbs in close, nearly into the fetal position, half moaning and half snarling as she tried to ground herself through the delirium and the distinct emptiness that somehow formed inside her even as she felt as though she was drowning.
She cried out, her eyes screwed shut tight, her hands balling into fists into whatever was beneath her--and even as she did that it was if she heard Ling's voice somewhere through it all, as distressed as she was. And while that would normally cause extreme worry in her this time it was coupled with some sort of rage that ran on a different line than usual.
She finally cracked her eyes open, looking up from her crouched position before craning her neck a bit and instantly recognizing Greed's room. A surge of anger went through her, more so than usual and she shouted his name with a snarl--and the sound of her own voice stopped her dead.
It was Ling's voice. Her hand went to her throat--her left hand. Her flesh left hand. She pulled her hands away, looked down at them and froze. She knew these hands, these arms, just as well as her own. She turned them over, shaking a bit in shock and looked down at 'her' body, seeing Ling's bare chest.
Or should she say Greed's...
Her head jerked toward the door, her jaw going slack for just a moment to see her own body standing there shouting at her. And without really considering any of it at all she shouted back, "WHAT DID YOU DO!?"
Because clearly this had to be Greed's fault. It certainly wasn't hers.

The yelling brought him abruptly back to reality, he blinked, staring at his body with about the same expression she'd had when Ling's voice came out instead of his. He had to shake his head vigorously to even mount a reply to her accusation.
"I-- No. What!? I DIDN'T DO THIS WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!?" He yelled back, shaking his metal fist at her a little bit and feeling a small amount of pride that he'd managed to convince the appendage to make a fist in the first place.

"Give it back. It's mine," she said, moving toward him with a scowl on her face while reaching out to grab an arm, as if somehow she could pull herself back in.

"I don't think it's gonna work that way Lan Fan!" He said, still having trouble working the metal arm he got it up just barely to knock her arm out of the way. "Now hurry up and calm down alright. You're supposed to be the level headed one here!" Though he had to admit it was a lot easier to think clearly without the din of the stone in his head.

"How did this happen!?"
no subject
"Alright you want your body? Here it is honey!" He said and made his move, pressing his lips against her . Oh this is definitely new he thought.

Needless to say, if he had wanted to shut her up he certainly found the way.

"You calm yet?" He asked, still hanging on to the waist and shoulders of Lan Fan's taller body.

And considering some of the things she had been through, that was saying something.
She remained slack jawed for a long moment, just trying to process what was happening, almost as if she had stepped back and was watching from across the room. When Greed pulled back and spoke it was like the lights finally turned back on.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?" she shouted, flailing her arms and stumbling back a bit and unsure what to do with Greed still hanging on her.
