The Most Open Log
Characters: Thor-616, You!
Date: 26th, evening.
Location: A field outside the Earth district.
Situation: Thor summons the Avengers. And anyone else who cares to show up.
Warnings/Rating: Thunder and Lightning, very very frightening?
[Does the weather seem stormy to you?
Thor has been shown to his rooms and seen the network, but it takes a long time to break habits formed over millenia of not having computers. Rather than make a post announcing his arrival he's standing out in the middle of a field.
The open space puts him a little at his ease; though the knowledge that he cannot return Asgard, nor any of the worlds he knows, grates on his patience. He is a God, not a messenger to to called at someone's whim.
But frustration aside, he would like more answers than the Kedan he met can give him. And he can sense the presence of people he knows. So, quite obviously to him, it makes sense to summon them so that they may confer.
He shifts his grip on Mjolnir, taking a breath as the clouds above him gather and darken.]
Avengers, Assemble!
[The call is accompanied by a bolt of lightning, because there are times when it would be wrong not to have one.
On Earth, that call would have assured him the company of any allies who were able to join in whatever cause required them. It had once temporarily called the shade of a close friend back from the veil of death. Distance was no obstacle, so unless there was a magic here he was unaware of, his allies would hear him. Thor had no doubt that those who did hear would come.
As would the rest of the inhabitants of the Turtle, most likely. Unlike the people of Earth they were unused to the rallying cry. Thor did not mind if the came to investigate either.
ooc: either actionspam or prose are fine :3]

... Lanterns. [He hates to break it to you, but on the Earth he's from lanterns aren't usually considered people.]

Oh, sorry. The uh, Green Lanterns. That's their--well I'd say superhero name but they're really space cops. ...Now that I think about it, it's kind of like saying "go find the FBI's."

I should be pleased to meet one of these lanterns, then. What of you? You also have a name?
no subject
Me? I'm Invincible. [That's his name, he's not just stating this.]

Has that been tested?

Let us conserve ourselves for this foe we are meant to fight.

What do you know of him?

As for what he is... He's apparently some kind of creature hell bent on destruction. Of everything. Apparently he's been trying to destroy this world for a while, and apparently every time they beat him down he comes back again with a different form. The Kedan hope we can be the ones to finally stop him.
