[From a medical perspective, magical beings, much less superheroes aren't of much use in a medical setting, unless they're Dr. Mid-nite, who is a medical doctor and superhero. Rory's just made her month by saying that.]

In that case, you're perfect. We were already shorthanded, and it's only been even worse since Dr. Natu left earlier this month. They might be bringing people here, but there aren't very many who are able to help when it comes to the medical side of things.

Right now it's only me and Dr. McCoy with any experience in the the medical field, so you'll be a great addition. I'm Bianca, by the way.

[There's a surprised blink at the answer he gets - Rory certainly had not been expecting that at all, so its a bit of a surprise but... its a good surprise, he supposes. Sure, its worrying that there's not a lot of medical help available, but... all the more he should help.]

Rory. Rory Willams. [Smiles just a little bit more, much more encouraged now.] I've been meaning to come here earlier, but things just keep happening and stuff so... [Gestures helplessly and gives a sheepish look. What can you do when things decide to happen, right?]

It's nice to meet you, Rory. [Really, it is.] There's nothing wrong with that, things usually happen for a reason.

[And now for a serious question.]

How do you feel about expanding your skillset and pushing your boundaries? I'm just a nurse as well, but after Dr. McCoy, we probably have the most knowledge here, as far as what's available for the clinic. [Keeliai doesn't exactly have much in the way of native medical personnel.] There are things here that we might have to do that would normally be left to a doctor back on Earth, but we don't really have the people for that.

[Rory takes a moment to let the question sink in, and then he's nodding once more.]

I've had... outside experience-- [if 'outside experience' equates to going across the universe and live two different lives in timelines that no longer exist] --but knowing more is always good. Learning is a lifelong experience, after all.

[Smiles once more. Yeah, he's very much up for learning more if it means he can help more people.]

As soon as you want me to? I don't really have much going on here, so...

[Shrugs again, and smiles yet another time - hopefully to show how sincere he is in this.]
