[ Good, problem closed, set aside. She likes the more hugging thing too so she is going to talk while hugging. ]

Sorry, I'm not usually this sad and clingy, but I need to tell people that Lincoln is gone, and I don't drink, but I- ...I thought it might make me more brave but instead I just feel miserable and a bit sick.

[imaginate]

[His fingers tighten where they are. She drank? But she hates alcohol--]

That's all right, we're friends remember? [He offers her a weak smile.] You're not feeling too nauseous?

[dunhaming]

[ She shakes her head. ]

Not that bad. No danger of throwing up. Just... gross. I guess there's a reason I can't stand the taste.

[ Which definitely hasn't changed at all, she's confirmed that. ]

[imaginate]

You've obviously not had me for a bartender.

[He wraps an arm around her and gently nudges her towards somewhere more comfortable than in front of her door.]

[dunhaming]

[ She has a sofa that is very convenient for being somewhere more comfortable than her door. When she sits down she picks her feet up and sort of hugs her knees in, very different from her usual sitting posture of one leg crossed over the other, ankle to knee, open and confident. ]

You'll have better luck with Olivia, she likes drinking.

[imaginate]

[He curls in next to her, and puts an arm over her shoulder, stretching his legs out.]

I could always draw on you with body paint if that makes you feel better.

[dunhaming]

[ She leans into him, resting her head on his shoulder. And he gets a weak laugh at the painting. ]

I can't remember the last time that happened. Probably my mom took my sister and I to a fair and we got face paint when we were kids.

[imaginate]

Then about time we tried it, hm?

[He creates a small radio with his ring, and it starts playing Saturday Night Fever.]

[dunhaming]

[ That gets another weak laugh and she shifts so she's facing him, but as she moves her head from his shoulder she shifts her legs so that her feet are tucked under her with her knees resting on the side of his leg. Physical contact is definitely a thing right now. ]

Okay. ...What do I do?

[imaginate]

[He taps her shoulder with his fingers while in thought.]

We probably have to find the stuff first. Do they even do that here?

[dunhaming]

[ She thinks on it for a bit, and it takes her a noticeable few seconds longer than usual. ]

They seem like they would. But I haven't been keeping an eye out for it so I don't know.

[imaginate]

Yeah.

[Exhale. He looks over at the nearest clock, watching it tick for a while.]

And my most recent experience with body paint was that freaky glowing stuff that brought us back from being ghosts.

[Snaps his fingers.]

Hey, you into karaoke?

[dunhaming]

[ Let's not think about that terrible thing called Halloween. ]

I've done it once or twice, why?

[ It's not like they really have the technology for it here. ]

[imaginate]

Weeeeeell. [he eases himself up, and stretches, clears the living space with a wave of his hand, as small cranes rearrange the furniture. The radio disappears, and in its place, is a stage. Kyle studies it.]

I've got the pop charts of the last decade on my ring. What do you think?

[dunhaming]

Only if you have U2. I've been missing U2.

[ She'll go along with anything right now, even if she doesn't have the energy for it. ]

[imaginate]

[he nudges her with his elbow.]

You know my ma's Irish? She said they wrote a few songs about the North.

[dunhaming]

[ She nudges back. ]

Did they? I didn't get a chance to listen to much of them when I was on the Other Side. We don't have U2 back home.

[Hey presto, there's a band playing the opening chords of Beautiful Day, and Kyle tosses Olivia a construct mic, gesturing for her to join him.]
