Characters: Enjolras and Combeferre
Date: 11/30
Location: Around Keeliai!
Situation: Enjolras and Ferre go on a Date. Perhaps things will happen afterwards. Who knows?
Warnings/Rating: PG-13 just to be safe.
[Over time, it was plain to see that the citizens of Keeliai didn't really care in the slightest about whom was in love with whom. So it had gradually become somewhat common knowledge that Combeferre and Enjolras were seeing each other, some of the friendlier kedan at the clinic and in the streets teasing him from time to time. Due to their comments -- and, well, wanting to spend time with Enjolras -- Combeferre had made some preparations.
There had been dinner, somewhat expertly cooked by him. (Well, there were no explosions, anyhow.) Now, discussion, or perhaps a walk, or whatever they felt like doing. Likely, it would be a mixture of the two. In any case, he is giving Enjolras a small, warm smile and an inquisitive look.]
Well. What would you like to do, my dear?

Well. What would you like to do, my dear?

[With having no idea what he is doing, he hopes a lot of things, that he manages to do it correctly, for one, that Combeferre is, well, pleased with him as a lover, for another, that it does not end as messily as he has heard it can...And that afterwards, they are able to continue their arrangement.]
I think...whatever happens, I will still love you. I also must admit that I have absolutely no idea about...I've done a little reading, but in practice, well. If you would consent to teach me as you have so far? I want for this to be pleasant for you.
[He wants, really, to be worthy of Combeferre, even in this, and to be able to make him feel what Enjolras has felt with him, that sense of...coming to life again, of what it feels like to be bursting with love for a person and not an ideal, that comfortable sense of fitting together. For the moment, though,he's letting himself be carried away by that hungry kiss, parting his own lips and sliding closer with a little moan.]

Upon reflection, I could certainly experience that again.
[Combeferre? You are a SAINT.]

I do not generally make such assumptions, you see, but I did rather think that was the case, my love. [And with that, he presses a small kiss to Enjolras' cheek, having found his glasses somewhere in that pile on the table.] I suppose love does make all men a bit foolish in their own way, now that I see it.

[His own expression, while he IS smiling, is rather earnest as well, just now. It's strange but the experience was different than he had considered, a bit messy to do practically often, he should think, but again, pleasant, really, over all. He's returning that kiss now, with a very fond sigh.] I do love you, at that. But it does not seem much foolishness to me, but rather something of a logical conclusion.

Well, perhaps for us it might be... [This, said while snuggling close to drape an arm over Enjolras' shoulders] But what about our Pontmercy? His love does not seem logical, nor does Courfeyrac's from time to time.

[That is a definite snort.]
I would imagine not, somehow. Making asses of you and me is certainly no medical procedure, even here, thankfully.
Mm, it could perhaps be something varied then. I can think of others too, for whom the entire thing becomes rather ridiculous.
[And here he is, tucking his head a bit under Combeferre's chin. There. Much better, from the happy sigh.]
Perhaps we are simply lucky to have found this out then, without so much madness on our parts. We've found our alchemy and have not even managed to explode much in the process.
no subject
Well, explode figuratively, anyway.

[Enjolras's smile IS a bit vague there, though he'd be content to go ahead and analyze more of this at the moment, it hardly seems like the right time to go ahead and say that. It feels rude somehow, if he's not properly concentrating on the moment, or on Combeferre. Well, that second one is not so hard to turn his complete attentions toward, and certainly no hardship as he shifts a little to nuzzle Combeferre comfortable, a vague smile crossing his face there.]
Yes... I do suppose there is that.
