[Christmas shopping in Markutte isn’t turning out to be all that great, but then again Korra’s not fond of shopping in the first place. Most of her life, money’s never even been a thought that’s crossed her mind, and now it’s becoming more important to have. If anything, she’d rather just make the gifts herself. But there’s some things she just can’t make, or doesn’t know how to.
Using her blue wristband, Korra rubs the intricately carved jade stone that’s the main design for the scabbard she’s holding. Then she grabs the hilt and half pulls out the jian its covering. Both edges of the sword were sharp and it’s overall fully functional, winning it at the auction felt much more satisfying now.
As she’s snapping back into the scabbard, Korra catches the reflection of Vanessa from the pristine blade. A quick glance around and her blue eyes find the blonde girl amidst the crowd in the market stalls. Making her way over, Korra peers over Vanessa’s shoulder to see what booth has her interest and she gives a toothless grin.]
